VIDEO: ARETHA FRANKLIN SPEAKS WITH WENDY WILLIAMS ABOUT HEALTH

Yesterday day-time talk show host Wendy Williams spoke to the legendary queen of soul Aretha Franklin via phone on her television show & the very first question Wendy asked was "How is your health?" & Ms. Aretha replied "My health is superb", the audience replied with a round of applause.

After putting everyone to ease after announcing that she is in perfect health she then revealed that actress Halle Berry was casted to play Aretha Franklin in her biopic. As we all can see Ms. Berry does not resemble Aretha in any way shape or form, but singer Jennifer Hudson would play the part very well even though Hudson recently lost a lot of weight.

ARETHA FRANKLIN SPEAKS ON HEALTH ISSUES

Late last month the music industry received a big scare when the news spread of Aretha Franklin having some health problems. The rumor began to spread of the legendary singer having pancreatic cancer, but recently Aretha spoke with Jet Magazine about the issue.

“I am not one to do a lot of talking about my personal health or business. Not too much, not too much. There are a lot of people who will talk about anything, as long as there is somebody listening. But I am not one of those people. That’s not Aretha. I am not going to even deal with that. I don’t have to talk about my health with anybody other than my doctors. The problem has been resolved.”

ARETHA FRANKLIN SET TO RETURN TO THE STAGE

Just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 'Aretha Franklin' will return to the stage next summer, The singer is recovering in a hospital from a unknown surgery in Detroit. Read more below.




"Aretha is believed to be in good spirits, saying in a statement, ‘God is still in control.’

And the Rev Jesse Jackson, who has visited Aretha a number of times since she was taken ill, has said, ‘Her spirits are high and her faith is strong.’
