CIARA "MY TIME TO SPEAK"

Earlier last week the internet began buzzing about singer Ciara reported being dropped from her record label, neither her label or Ciara had responded until now. Ciara released a official statement via her facebook fan page.  The statement was titled "My Time To Speak".

To my fans:

This week the net has been a buzz of the rumor that I have been dropped from my label. At this point that rumor is false.. It is true that I have asked and I pray that my label will release me. I have had some great times and success with my label, but sometimes like all great things, its at that point where I feel we don't share the same views on who I am as a artist. The past two albums have been very frustrating for me. At times there were songs I chose to lead a project and I was ignored! This project, I even tried to get Gimmie Dat started I spent tens of thousands of my own money only to hear the radio pds tell me my label didn't want the song played. I even spent more than one hundred thousand dollars out of my pocket on the video to bring my vision to it and still no label support. I do understand that some labels are not financially supporting their artists and I have become one of them. You, my fans, know that I strive to do my best to deliver to my you the best songs and creative vision I possibly can. I'm dedicated to my music, performance and to my fans! I've tried to be a team player with the label only to have  compromised what I truly believed.. And was not given the right opportunity to promote and inform my fans of the release of this album..I have so much of me as a artist I still want to give to the world and my fans. A release would allow me to go be creative with people who care and understand me as a artist. In a short time, I will be able to bring to you a new music energy and a visual excitement! Thank you so much for standing by me through the good, bad, and the confusion. I love you all.

MOVIE: CIARA'S MOVIE "MAMA I WANT TO SING"

A few years ago r&b singer Ciara was featured in a movie called "Mama I Want To Sing", the movie was supposed to hit theaters back in 2007, but never made it to the big or small screen. Earlier today the full length movie was leaked & posted on Youtube for viewing pleasure.

Last night Ciara opened "The Mo'Nique Show" as she performed her single "Ride" as she grinded all over the stage she showed the audience exactly how it should be done. At the very end of the show Ciara closed the show with her hit single "Gimmie Dat" & of course the performance was filled with a lot of dancing.

Ciara stopped by "The Ellen Degeneres Show" this morning to perform her latest single "Gimme Dat". The song is on her album "Basic Instinct" which was just released yesterday. During her performance Ciara took it back to the performer that we know she can be with her amazing dancing skills & her semi ok vocal ability but with that her performance was better then most people thought it would be.

CIARA: 'BASIC INSTINCT' ALBUM REVIEW

The first album since the commercial failure that was 'Fantasy Ride' which was released back on (May of 09), Ciara says it's time to bring it back to basic's with her fourth album 'Basic Instinct'. Now as a fan of some of Ciara's previous works, I must say I am highly disappointed with her and this album. the first song 'Basic instinct (U Got Me)' talks about who she had been slipping on her game in the industry and how she was making her big return back to her former glory, well clearly she got lost on her way back to us, because this album see's the return of nothing but her being dropped from Jive Records. now she started these this era with a fantastic start her first single Ride which had major radio airplay and not one single performance or promotion was to be found, then she pushes the album back so many times it's sad (she must have broke the records for the most push backs).

Not to mention the tracks that where leaked on to the web which was basically the whole album, except a few (mind you there is only 11 tracks). I cant for the life of me understand the reasoning for all the push backs, because she had so much time that anything short of a Mariah Carey's 'Emancipation of Mimi' or a Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' would be a failure and guess what it falls and tripped completely short of both of those albums. i'm mad I even took the time to write this review, but honestly this album showed not only no vocal growth it shows no growth as a artist as well. jesus only know's why she let The Dream produce this whole album, his writing skills are too repetitive and why does he have all his singers act like they have a speech impediment when they sing. I give this album a stamp of 2 out out of 5 stars is if you buy this album it's evident that the recession has not effected your pockets and you have money to burn.

Ciara if you see this review its not that I enjoyed writing this review because I would have love to have wrote that this album has been your best album yet, but its not and I shall not tell a lie.

NEW MUSIC: CIARA "I DON'T CARE"

A new song from singer Ciara has leaked to the internet called "I Don't Care", the song will not be on her upcoming album "Basic Instinct", but it should have be because vocally the song sounds good versus some of the other tracks from the album. Ciara's new album will be in stores on December 14th.

A new song has leaked from ATL songstress Ciara's upcoming album "Basic Instinct" entitled "You Can Get It". The song was produced by Tricky Stewart & The Dream. The long awaited album will hit stores on December 14th.
