Ms. Knowles Inks New Deal

After years of sponsoring other companies like Emporio Armani Diamonds and Tommy Hilfiger Beyonce has inked a deal with fragrance house Coty to begin working on launching her very own fragrance. She tells WWD.com, "For me, fragrance reflects a woman's attitude and unique sense of style. "While I love various perfumes, I haven't found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that's reflective of my inner power." The new fragrance that has not been named yet is scheduled to hit stores in Spring 2010, which could earn Ms. Knowles $20 million over the next 3 years.

Chris Brown Starts Community Service

Singer Chris Brown started his mandatory community service today in Virginia. He has to work a 8 hour day where he is required to clean roads, highways, and clean graffiti off walls among other things. He will also be with 30 to 40 other offenders of the law. He is required to complete 180 days of community service in result to assaulting his former girlfriend singer Rihanna in February.
