Yesterday in Portland, Maine Lady Gaga made a speech on CNN in front of a crowd of people on the topic of "Don't Ask Don't Tell". This policy prevents openly gay people from serving in the U.S. Military.
During her speech she stated:
“I’m here because ‘Don’t ask, Don’t tell’ is wrong, it’s unjust and fundamentally it is against all that we stand for as Americans"
I believe that she spoke from her heart and trying to make people realize that it is not fair or just to disqualify people from the military just because they are gay. Watch the video below and tell me how you feel about Lady Gaga's speech.
